Two growth-hormone-releasing analogues that differ mostly in how long they last.
Same target, very different half-life. Both act on the GHRH receptor. Sermorelin clears in ten to twenty minutes; CJC-1295 without DAC lasts around thirty. Sermorelin has approved-label history behind it, which is why it sits a tier higher on evidence.

GH release is pulsatile. A short-acting analogue produces a sharper, more physiological pulse; longer exposure flattens it. That is the actual argument between these two, not potency.
Both are commonly paired with a ghrelin-receptor agonist such as ipamorelin, which is why the CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin blend exists as a single vial.
