Looks good. Draw to 7.5 units on a 1 mL syringe. That is an easy amount to measure, and this vial gives you 40 doses.

Where this plan came from
An OptimalDosages protocol
Where this came from: Anchored to a 1 mg daily MOTS-c target, stepped up in quarter-milligram increments every two weeks. The blend is dosed on its total weight, so each step raises all three components together. Figures in brackets are what each step delivers of MOTS-c and NAD+. A vial runs roughly 10 days once you reach the target.

A metabolic combination in a 120 mg vial, dosed daily and anchored to MOTS-c. MOTS-c is 8.3% of the contents, so a 1 mg daily MOTS-c dose means 12 mg of blend — which also delivers 10 mg of NAD+ and 1 mg of 5-Amino-1MQ. Because the ratio is fixed, anchoring to MOTS-c puts the other two low against their own figures: NAD+ is reported at 50–100 mg per dose and 5-Amino-1MQ at 2.5–5 mg. At 1 mg MOTS-c daily a vial runs about 10 days.

Common Questions — Mito Blend

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 120 mg vial of Mito Blend?

Adding 3 mL of bacteriostatic water to a 120 mg vial gives 40 mg/mL. That is the mix every number on this page is worked out from — change the water figure in the calculator and all the draw amounts update.

What dose of Mito Blend is used in research?

Published and reported figures for Mito Blend run from 3 mg to 12 mg, typically 1× daily (0.25 mg MOTS-c / 2.5 mg NAD+). This site lists each figure with the source it came from rather than giving a single recommended number.

How many units on the syringe is a 3 mg dose of Mito Blend?

At 40 mg/mL, a 3 mg dose is 7.5 units on a 1 mL U-100 insulin syringe. One vial at that mix gives about 40 doses.

How strong is the evidence behind these Mito Blend doses?

Mito Blend is graded preclinical. Laboratory and animal data only. No human dosing trials have been published. We grade every compound on this site so you can weigh the numbers accordingly — the full method is on our editorial policy page.

Is there a Mito Blend titration schedule?

Yes — Build up to 1 mg MOTS-c daily. The week-by-week table on this page converts each step into the exact amount to draw for your mix.

Why these three are combined

120 mg vial
What is in the vial
  • NAD+ 100 mg
  • MOTS-c 10 mg
  • 5-Amino-1MQ 10 mg

Three different points on the same pathway. NAD+ supplies the cofactor directly. MOTS-c is a mitochondrial-derived peptide studied for AMPK signalling. 5-Amino-1MQ inhibits NNMT, which is studied as a way of preserving the NAD+ salvage pathway rather than supplying NAD+ itself.

So one component adds the cofactor, one signals, and one slows its depletion. Of the blends here this has the most coherent mechanistic story — though as always, the case rests on the individual compounds rather than a trial of the combination.

The ratio matters. Heavily weighted: NAD+ is 100 of the 120 mg, with MOTS-c and 5-Amino-1MQ at 10 mg each. A dose sized for the NAD+ gives a tenth as much of the other two.

Nothing has tested these three together. The schedule above is built around a 1 mg daily MOTS-c target rather than any published combination protocol.
